A Costa del Sol trip is enjoyed by large amounts of sun seeking tourists over the summer, as much as the many other Spanish hot spot destinations. The miles and miles of beach gets filled quickly during summer as it is the perfect place to enjoy the high temperatures and glaring sun. Malaga, Torremolinos and Marbella are the most sought after destinations on the South East coast because of what they offer away from the beach. You will find some great Costa del Sol deals when you travel to Marbella where you can enjoy a variety of activities. Golf lovers will appreciate the many courses available, one of which was designed by Seve Ballersteros. Head to the old town and Orange Square where you can enjoy a brisk walk through an area that’s origins date back to 1600 BC. Shopping is good but expensive in Marbella and even has its own Versace boutique. At night there are plenty of classy bars and clubs to choose from, many of which are located at the seafront. The sunny town of Torremolinos is another great destination’s to choose when booking a Costa del Sol package. Torremolinos is a very lively resort both day and night and at certain times of the year you can enjoy the events and festivals that go on in the town. The Festivals of Virgen del Carmen de La Carihuela, July, and San Miguel Arcangel, September, will fill the streets with sights and sounds that allow tourists the chance to get fully immersed in Spanish culture. After the day may have worn you out you can enjoy a nice relaxing drink at night in one of the many cafe bars. The large city of Malaga is yet another great location for Costa del Sol holidays, and blessed with beautiful surroundings. The birthplace of Picasso is a good place to visit as is the Picasso Museum. The Catedral de Malaga is an impressive structure that is based in the heart of the city and is well worth seeing. A bustling and fun filled nightlife compliments the great culture you will experience during the day. You will find that wherever you stay in on the south coast you will find Costa del Sol cheap. All inclusive deals will make that more of a certainty and many hotels in the area will offer great deals also. |
